Ex-Lehman Chief Dick Fuld feels "dumped on"

Dick Fuld, the unrepentant ex-CEO of Lehmans which spectacularly collapsed last year and whose unreptentant, repugnant testimony in the Committee hearings turned him into a hate figure, is bewailing his fate, poor well-oiled thug.

Reuters says he believes that the world is not ready to listen to his woes (he got that right!) and feels he can ride out the coming furore over the first anniversary of the collapse:

"You know what? The anniversary's coming up," he said. "I've been pummeled, I've been dumped on, and it's all going to happen again. I can handle it. You know what, let them line up."

You can watch the two-part committee meetings here and here. Fuld is interrogated in the second of these. Fascinating footage - approximately 2.5 hours per video.

We aren'tWhy are we not seeing the same kind of oversight here in the UK?

Fuld has been named in scores of legal actions since Lehman's demise by financial institutions and even by former employees. He is currently embroiled in three grand jury probes.
