Installing XP on a SATA drive with no floppy drive - HELP!

The Windows XP (SP2) installation disk is a bit long in the tooth and as such, has no SATA HDD drivers. So, when you boot up with the XP installation disk, it won't see your brand new SATA drive and ... well!

I need to install XP on a machine without a floppy drive - something that the XP installation demands.

I found a promising site which gives instructions for creating a bootable XP installation disk, incorporating the SATA drivers on an XP installation + SATA drivers bootable disk. Great instructions, but no workee!

Before I turn grey (or bald), can some kind techie please help?

Spec:

AMD A8V deluxe motherboard
New Sata drive: Samsung 1.5TB F2 Eco Green 5400RPM S300 32MB

I want the SATA to be the bootable drive.

Any help welcome. Name your gift! I'll kiss your feet if you help me solve this!
