Conservative Party Conference speeches - not bad, but ...
There'll be light blogging from me for the next few days - still installing and configuring software on my PC. The days that I enjoyed plumbing the bowels of my computer have long gone!
The Conservatives' conference speehes brought some welcome relief, most of which were pretty good - Boris's being tops, as usual.
Still, very disappointed about the Tories' stance on Lisbon. They might reach the apex of their electoral mountain if they would only capitulate and promise us a referendum, regardless of its ratification status.
Sigh!
Update: I see Dan Hannan lays into "President Blair", just short of calling him a traitor for selling out his country for the baubles lavished upon him by the power elite in the EU. They all understand greed, and Dan is gracious enough not to say it outright.
Update: Witterings from Witney is not impressed, either.
