McDrone has had a sight disability since he's been in government - and long before.
Now, it appears, he will seek to duck out of an election on health reasons.
I challenge him, so-called admirer of courage, to cast his eye on this list of famous achievers with disabilities.
Doubtless, others should be able to add to the list.
If Brown tries to duck out on health grounds, he deserves ridicule for that alone - never mind his catalogue of disastrous policies he's inflicted on this once wonderful country.
Whatever the case, he should hang his head in shame. Go forth, Mr Brown, but at least try to do so with dignity and not insult our intelligence further.
