Commentators, such as Tom Woods and the Daily Paul blogger, Michael Nystrom, analyse the appeal and rise of Ron Paul and his ideas.
On why the Ron Paul campaign has been so phenomenally successful - all grassroot led - one commentator encapsulated the essence, thus:
"I almost feel as if he is saying, "You know what? If people want what I'm offering, they'll make it happen."Bullseye.
Intrinsic to his very campaign approach is the potent message of liberty and self-determination that the people of Western nations are crying out for.
That's what we need in the UK.
The man is simply outstanding in intellect, honesty, integrity, passion, dedication, compassion and consistency.
If anyone can solve America's financial problems, he can.
Ron Paul for President, 2012, liberty and justice willing!
The 'mainstream' media ignores him, of course.

Hi Fausty, Ron Paul should be cloned and one of him sent to Britain - we need him desperately. There's the usual media bias against him though and he doesn't get the airtime other candidates do. Then there are the malignant whispering campaigns... That's pretty much the universal way of lefties attacking what they don't like - vis Farage.
I like his ideas a lot. Right now, he is my top choice.
Agreed, GV. Heartening to see the great Jon Stewart first point out the outrageous tactics of the media and then interview him on his show!
I still think Ron Paul has a shot at the Republican nomination because (a) even though the MSM is ignoring him, the grassroots movement is growing more powerful, daily and (b) any dolt can see that he is spin-free. His delivery is so obviously from the heart that in these wicked times, he stands out like a beacon - almost a saint!
Mine too, Trestin! That Cain fellow is a creature of Wall Street - a spoiler for the libertarian cause.
