Weather wars
The Met predicts one of the mildest winters ever, while Piers Corbyn of WeatherAction predicts that 27th and 28th December 2011 be "exceptionally cold".
My money's on WeatherAction.
Why?
Because the Met has a political agenda and is kept alive by the taxpayer, whereas WeatherAction has to rely on being right in order to survive.
And, of course, because the Met's medium- to long-term forecasts have been so spectacularly wrong in recent years, compared to WA's ...

The Met Orifice say that every fucking year. I suppose sooner or later they'll be right.
I wonder if they'll even manage that, AE!
I made a long term prediction in October when these Met Office clowns were flogging billions of tons of salt for November road de-icing!
