Most cheering post of New Year's Day 2012

... is Glen Owen's attack on the BBC - even if only because it tells me what I want to hear.

My only prediction for 2012 is that it will be a rough year and the vigilance on the electorate's part will be more crucial than ever.

My hopes for 2012 are too numerous to mention and mostly pie in the sky because our 'leaders' don't share the hopes and dreams of their duped constituents.

Nevertheless, two hopes stand out having a chance of realisation:
  • the collapse of the Euro
  • the beginning of the end of BBC licensing.
Both are simply unsustainable, for a multitude of reasons.

May 2012 bring a restoration of sanity and justice.

Happy New Year!

Thanks for pointing us to Glen Owen's post. Spot on.

The irrational exuberance and open cheerleading by the press for statist projects is sickening.

What ever happened to the hard-boiled reporters who didn't go to elite schools and hated the elite and the political class?

It's a cliche now, but the press has gone from watchdog to lapdog.

We'll have to fight to get rid of the BBC tax, though SF.

Is it any wonder that they're now trying to muzzle the alternative media?

We have a mighty fight on our hands, pushing back against their avalanche of new controls.

Hang on to your guns!
